About Me

If you had the chance to watch me one day you most likely see hulling around an instrument case of some sort.  Running from one place to another, trying to be on time but most of the time I'm not.  I'm always running somewhere.  If I'm not running around in public I'm probably running around the house thinking of some new ideas for our house or cooking.  I'm always busy.
Trust me.

On the weekdays I'm Home because I'm home schooled and finishing my school work.  HIGH SCHOOL!  So much school work!  After I'm done with my school work I have to practice my instruments.  Here goes.  Breath.  Hence the "s" in Instrument's'  I play: Violin  Viola  Guitar  Piano  Harp  and Cello.  I told you.  Your probably doing the "oh wow" face.  Yup, I get that a lot.  I'm not normal.  I love music and I listen to it when ever I can.  I listen to it all day while I do my school.  When I play I can feel my stress slowly slip away.  You can tell when I'm mad or happy by the way I play.  Thank you Lord for Music.
After all my school work and my practicing.... I cook!

Cooking and Baking is my passion.  Why?  I'm not sure why.  I just love to see people come together and talk and while eating my food.  It doesn't just bring family and friends together while eating it but also when preparing it.  Some of my greatest memories of when I was younger was when I would cook with my grandma and she would patiently teach me how to make family favorites.  After watching all the women in my family cook together and create this wonderful meal we would all sit down and give grace.  Dig in!

Back to what I was saying....

After the week days...  On Weekends I'm hulling around one of my instruments again.  If it's not orchestra than it's and audition, solo, quartet, singing, acting just something music related.  After all that it done I have a little free time to catch up on some projects.  I just look at pinterest and figure out what to do for the day.  On Saturday nights I get to see all my friends at church.  First my family and some of our close friends get together and have a "home group".  We have praise and worship and dig into Gods word.  I find it very refreshing and like to listen to the conversations that we have about whatever subject the Lord has laid on our hearts.  I get to see my buddy, Samuel!  Later on I get to be involved in our high school student ministry.  This is where I get to engage with people I know that are my age and learn about the word together.  Sunday morning.  I sleep in.  Ahhh.   So nice.  Sunday is my lazy day where I can do just about anything I want... but Sunday afternoon... is YOUTH GROUP!  Yes, another youth group.  I attend two different youth groups and two different churches.  It's a small youth group and everyone there is so nice.  We play water games, go on trips together, random games, and always we study God's word.  I feel very at home there and would recommend it to any high school or middle school student.  It's my favorite time of the week.  Crazy weekend right?  Yes very.    I left one very important event out... Grandmas house.

Every Saturday sense I was born I go to Grandmas house.  This has been a tradition for the past (almost!) fifteen years.  "Over the River and through the woods to Grandmothers house we go".  Well, not exactly... But pretty close!  She has always lived near our family and I was very blessed.  She always had some thing planned.  Cooking, baking, painting, drawing, movies, ext...  One of my favorite times of the day was Lunch time.  I would help her make some sort of special dish.  I did the easy stuff while she would do all the hard parts but she would always keep me involved.  While she finished it up I would grab my purple stool and set the table and grab the plates, silverware, and cups.  Next I would walk over to her little white table in the corner of the kitchen by the window.  After I finished that she would let me go outside and pick flowers for our flower arrangement.  If I didn't decorate with flowers than we would display our project for the day.  The day quickly came to an end and we would have to pack up and get ready to leave so I could go home and get ready for church.  Even though it was hard to leave every Saturday, grandma would call me and ask me how I was and tell me that she missed me and couldn't wait for Saturday.  I couldn't wait and remember looking forward to it every week.  I still do.

Orchestra, cooking, homework, practice, friends, family.  I've got a lot going on.  Breath.  One one thousand...  Two one thousand... Three one thousand....  That's my week.

 Than I do it again.
